A sunny day & a window seat

I don’t like not knowing where I am.  That’s why I like the window seat.  And on sunny days like this, there’s an extra bonus in that all the familiar landmarks are easy to spot.

These were taken at the beginning of my Golden Week trip to Kyushu.

Fuji-san

This is just after leaving Tokyo, and before reaching Fuji-san:  Tanzawa.  I think that the higher mountain in the foreground with the bald top (just to the right of the centre of the image) is To-no-Take, which I’ve climbed (and blogged) earlier.

A view of Fuji-san needs no introduction.

This photo is the Seto-Naikai, somewhere around Okayama.

This is Hiroshima, with Peace Park easily made out.

  1. What a great picture of Mt Fuji. I’m very envious of you having taken a photo like that!
